🔪 Directions
Step 1: Brown the Beef and Onion In a large pot over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion together until the beef is browned and the onion is soft. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking. Once done, drain off any excess fat.
Step 2: Add Broth and Bring to Boil Pour in the beef broth and turn the heat up to bring everything to a boil.
Step 3: Cook the Macaroni Add the elbow macaroni to the boiling broth. Stir well and cook for 7–8 minutes, or until the pasta is just al dente. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Step 4: Stir in Milk and Cheese Reduce the heat to low. Slowly pour in the milk while stirring. Then, add the shredded cheddar cheese and continue stirring until the cheese has melted and the soup is smooth and creamy.
Step 5: Season and Serve Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve the soup hot in bowls. For extra flavor and flair, top with a sprinkle of cheese or fresh chopped parsley. continued on next page
