We live in a fairly quiet neighborhood where nothing much usually happens. But last week, all the neighbors were shocked.
One of our neighbors, while walking her dog, noticed strange clusters of small black eggs in the yard. They looked like shiny pearls stuck together and immediately caused concern.

But the closer we looked, the more we sensed danger: these eggs were too hard, shone strangely, and were right on the edge of the lawn where children and animals often play.
One of the neighbors called a pest control specialist. After inspection, the verdict was chilling: they were tick eggs.
he expert explained to us that ticks are not just unpleasant parasites. They transmit serious diseases like Lyme disease and Rocky Mountain spotted fever.
The larvae that hatch from these eggs can quickly find a host, whether it is an animal or a person.

We were told that tick eggs are very small, about 0.5 mm, and resemble poppy seeds. They often hide in tufts of grass, under leaves, or in woodpiles. Therefore, such a discovery should never be ignored.
To get rid of it, the specialist advised us:
Remove all leaves and debris around the affected area Consult a veterinarian to treat animals Plant tick-repellent plants such as rosemary, chrysanthemums, or mint Keep the lawn well mowed Keep woodpiles away from the house
If you ever notice this kind of pile, don’t delay: it’s better to prevent it by calling an expert than to have to face serious consequences later.
