Ingredients
1 ribeye steak (1-inch thick)
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and black pepper
2 large eggs
1 tbsp butter
4 breakfast sausages
4 slices bacon
Instructions
1. Cook the Steak
1. Let the ribeye sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes.
2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tbsp olive oil.
3. Season the steak generously with salt and black pepper.
4. Sear the steak for 2–3 minutes per side for medium-rare (or to your preference).
5. Transfer to a plate and let it rest while you cook the rest of the breakfast.
2. Cook the Sausages
1. In the same pan, reduce heat to medium.
2. Add the breakfast sausages and cook for 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
3. Cook the Bacon
1. Add the bacon to the skillet.
2. Fry until crispy or to your preferred level of doneness.
3. Remove and set aside.
4. Cook the Eggs
1. Wipe out the skillet if needed, or leave some bacon fat for extra flavor.
2. Add 1 tbsp butter and melt over medium heat.
3. Crack in the two eggs and cook sunny-side up, over-easy, or however you like them.
4. Season with a little salt and pepper.
5. Serve
Slice the rested steak, then plate it with the sausages, bacon, and eggs. Serve hot.
