Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken and Linguine in Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients

  1. 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  2. 8 oz linguine pasta
  3. 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  4. 4 cloves garlic, minced
  5. 1 cup heavy cream
  6. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  7. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  8. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  9. 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  10. 1 tablespoon olive oil
  11. 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente, drain and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, then cook the chicken for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
