COVID-19 WARNING: Global alert for vaccinated people: This will happen to them too.

This passage accurately describes some of the recognized symptoms of long COVID, but it must be placed in its proper medical context, as it is not a new alert or a phenomenon linked to vaccination. Here is the correct and scientifically based version 👇

Researchers, including at Yale University and other international medical centers, have shown that some people who have had a COVID-19 infection can develop a persistent set of symptoms called long COVID.
These symptoms sometimes include:

intense fatigue,..

dizziness or disorientation,

memory or language disorders,

difficulty concentrating (often called “brain fog”).

According to studies, about half of people with long COVID also have features of chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) — a rare but recognized disorder marked by long-lasting exhaustion, exercise intolerance, and cognitive impairment.

 To remember:

These symptoms affect people infected with the virus, not those who have simply been vaccinated.

COVID-19 vaccines reduce the risk of developing long COVID by decreasing the likelihood of infection and the severity of symptomatic illness.

Research continues at Yale, Harvard, and elsewhere to understand the biological mechanisms of long COVID and improve its management.
