Guava Leaf, Cinnamon, and Turmeric Infusion — Multiple Benefits


 

Turmeric and guava leaves have antimicrobial and antioxidant properties that strengthen the body’s defenses.

Recipe: Guava Leaf, Cinnamon, and Turmeric Infusion

Ingredients:

  • 5 fresh guava leaves or 1 tablespoon dried guava leaves

  • 1 cinnamon stick

  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder (or a small piece of fresh turmeric)

  • 1 liter of water

  • Honey or stevia to taste (optional)

Boil the Water:
Bring the liter of water to a boil in a pot.

Add the Ingredients:
Add the guava leaves, cinnamon, and turmeric to the boiling water.

Simmer:
Let it simmer over low heat for 10 minutes so all the properties are released.

Rest and Strain:
Turn off the heat and let the infusion rest for 5 minutes.
Strain the drink to remove the solid residues.

Sweeten (Optional):
If desired, add a little honey or stevia to sweeten naturally.

How to Consume It

  • On an empty stomach: Drink one warm cup in the morning to enhance its effects on blood sugar regulation.

  • After meals: Helps digestion and reduces abdominal bloating.
