Pineapple Bake


 

Sweet, tangy pineapple baked with cinnamon and butter — perfect as a side dish or a warm dessert with ice cream.

Ingredients
1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple with juice

¾ cup sugar

2 eggs

2 tbsp cornstarch

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 ½ tbsp butter, sliced into pats

1 tsp cinnamon

Preheat Oven

Set oven to 350°F (175°C).

Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.

Mix the Filling

In a large bowl, combine pineapple (with juice), sugar, eggs, cornstarch, and vanilla.

Stir until fully combined.

Assemble

Pour mixture into the prepared baking pan.

Dot with butter pats and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Bake

Bake for 45 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

Serve

Enjoy warm as a side dish or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert.
