Decadent, chocolatey, nutty, and caramel-filled—these Crockpot Turtles are a foolproof treat that looks fancy but couldn’t be simpler. The slow cooker does the work of melting the chocolate while you just layer and scoop. Perfect for holidays, gifting, or anytime your sweet tooth calls!
📝 Ingredients
4 cups pecan halves
1 (14 oz) bag Kraft caramels, unwrapped
1 (20 oz) package vanilla almond bark, broken into chunks
1 (12 oz) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (6 oz) bag milk chocolate chips
Equipment:
4–6 quart slow cooker
2 standard 12-cup muffin tins
24 paper muffin liners

Melt the Chocolate
Add almond bark chunks, semi-sweet chips, and milk chocolate chips to your slow cooker.
Cover and cook on LOW for 1 hour (don’t stir until the hour is up).
Stir in Pecans
After 1 hour, stir until smooth and fully melted.
Mix in pecan halves until coated. Cover again and cook on LOW for 15 more minutes.
Prepare the Muffin Tins
Line muffin tins with paper liners.
Place one caramel candy in the center of each liner.
Assemble the Turtles
Spoon warm chocolate-pecan mixture (about ¼ cup each) over each caramel, covering completely.
Set the Candies
Cool at room temp until firm, or refrigerate for 30–45 minutes for quicker setting.
Serve & Store
Remove from liners and enjoy! Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
